​Project Desciption​
Dato'Lee Chong Wei is our inspiration icon in the sport arena. He has glorified Malaysia through Badminton. His hard work paid of when he was ranked World's No.1 in Men's Single for a few years. Dato' action has been described as 'Like a crouching tiger waiting to pounce on its prey". Despite having a knee injury last year, he still managed to get a silver in the Olympics Game 2012. He still active and participating in numerous events this year. His advise to all youngsters that education is also important besides talent. Dedication, perseverance and self discipline are all the MUST have to ensure your success in anything you partake. His future plans are to train more youngster in this game.​
 



​Summary of our project

Lee Chong Wei or fondly known as Dato’ LCW is an inspiration icon in our sports industry.

He made us all proud by working very hard to become the best Badminton Singles player in the world. He was ranked World's No.1 in Men's Single for a few years.
For the record he had won the most prestigious championship known as the All England World Championship not once but Twice.

He started young at the age of 11 when he was trained by his first coach Mr Teh who saw his potential. From there he strived to become a champion. There were hindrances in his achievements in initial stage where his size became a factor for not being chosen to represent the country.



Nevertheless his continued hard work earned him a place in the competition and he never looked back ever since.

His Motto is “ There is no short-cuts to achieve your dream'. His action has been descibed as ' Like a crouching tiger waiting to pounce on its prey' He is always ready for a challenge.

Problems we have to overcome
Our main problem was we registered a little late. Thus deciding on the topic was a challenge. In addition, this was our first time joining. So to know more, we had to continuously view the past entries of others to get some idea.

Upon selecting our category which was Local Leader, we decided with whole heartedly to Explore on our source, that was Dato’ Lee Chong Wei.



We had difficulty in meeting him personally for long, as such we had to communicate with him via email.



Deciding on our animation was another uphill task. With the time constraint we weren’t sure how to do our animation. Here our basic fundamental of animation was a great help. We had learnt the animation skills in our weekly animation classes.

We also had difficulty in coordinating our time within our team. Therefore we decided to stay back after school on Wednesdays for about two hours to complete it. By dividing into groups we were able to do our parts effectively and on time.
